By placing an order with Intrepid Wines Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”), whether as a trade customer or a retail customer, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
- Retail customers must be at least 18 years old to purchase alcohol.
- Trade customers must be legally authorised to purchase alcohol for resale (e.g. wine shops, bars, restaurants) and hold all relevant licences.
- We reserve the right to request proof of age or licensing where appropriate.
- No sales will be made to underage individuals.
2. Order Acceptance
- Submission of an order via our website, order form, or other ordering method constitutes an offer to purchase goods.
- A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation or invoice.
- All prices and product availability are subject to confirmation prior to acceptance.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All trade prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Payment is due in full in accordance with the terms specified on the invoice or at checkout.
- For trade customers, late payments may incur interest in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- We reserve the right to withhold or cancel deliveries where payment terms are not met.
4. Delivery
- Delivery is available only to addresses in mainland England and Wales. We do not currently deliver to Scotland, Northern Ireland, offshore islands, or international destinations.
- Delivery charges, minimum order values, and any free-delivery thresholds will be clearly stated at the time of ordering.
- Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers or events beyond our reasonable control.
- Risk in the goods passes to the customer on delivery.
5. Title and Risk
- Title to the goods remains with Intrepid Wines Ltd until full payment has been received.
- Risk passes to the customer upon delivery to the nominated address.
6. Returns, Refunds, and Claims
- Returns are accepted only with prior written agreement.
- Refunds are not normally provided except where goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
- Any claims for damaged, missing, or incorrect goods must be notified to us within 48 hours of delivery, with supporting evidence where possible.

7. Liability
- Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price paid for the goods supplied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of profit, business, or goodwill.
8. Alcohol Compliance
- Retail customers confirm they are purchasing alcohol for personal consumption only.
- Trade customers confirm they hold the appropriate licences and are authorised to purchase alcohol for resale under UK law.
- All customers agree to comply with applicable laws relating to the storage, sale, supply, and consumption of alcohol.
9. Website Use
- This website and any associated order forms may be used only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the website or that content will always be error-free.
10. Amendments
- We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- The most current version will always be available on our website.
11. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
