The Story
For years, Touriga Nacional did its work quietly. Grown in quantity, blended into bulk wines, valued for structure and colour but rarely allowed to speak for itself. At Dorina Lindemann, that never sat quite right. Together with her daughters, Dorina runs a women-led winery built on a simple conviction: if a grape has character, it deserves to be heard on its own. Not softened, not hidden, not diluted by volume.
So they bottled it as a varietal, patiently, deliberately, and without compromise. The result is a Touriga Nacional that feels assured rather than showy: concentrated, expressive, and unmistakably itself.
In 2025, that quiet confidence was recognised when the wine won Gold at Mundus Vini. A milestone certainly, but more importantly, proof that when care, conviction, and respect lead the way, even a long-overlooked grape can finally take centre stage.
